Community Hall

The memorial hall has been unused for last couple of years, which was sad. However new trustees have been recruited and it has reopened with new key holders. On this web site you can see the details of how to book the hall, together with forth coming events.

Last night, 3rd September, a fund raising supper was held. Ben Lamb had very kindly offered to make the Sarum Voices Choir to singing for their supper! 69 sat down to listen to this wonderful group, both before and after a splendid supper provided by the village, Later Jonathan Lamb was persuaded to read from his poetry anthology 'The Ugly Baby' to everyones great amusement. At the end of the evening an auction of promises was held, with the evening as a whole raising nearly £3500 net for the hall.

Many contributed their time to make the evening a success, our thanks go out to them all.
